summer tendrils
Written on June 22, 2012
Oh the woes of a very hot summer…
What you believe is dust is a tiny spider, the tendrils of unknown plants wrap themselves around your windows, pests & sun poisoning, the curling leaves of your delicate Impatiens…
In my own little nest, I am doing my best to shun the overwhelming, sauna sensation of summer. Working & daydreaming from morning until night. Peeking out the window and watching the visiting purple finch take dust baths in the yard.
I recently had some cards made of my paper doll diorama that was shown at Trifecta gallery not too many months ago: Mushroom Hunter

I’m giving away a small handful of these in the next few shop orders.
Then, they’ll be available for sale in a couple of months.
New as a print is I Pick You. It was requested by a wonderful customer of mine and I thought it might make a nice addition to my print catalog.

scan of the print – printed on the fabulous archival Hahnemuhle german etching paper with archival pigment inks

What a gorgeous new print. I love that you do custom orders and that you send out little extras with your orders. That card is lovely. The mushroom hunter is wonderful.
Thank you. I want people to feel valued.
